Presenting Our Second Sustainability Report

We are proud to share Persano Group’s second sustainability report. The report builds on the foundation established last year and provides an overview of our work within environmental, social, and governance matters.
The report provides an updated status on our sustainability work across the company and value chain and describes our developments, challenges, and future focus areas.
For the first time, the report includes our double materiality assessment and our first comprehensive Scope 3 greenhouse gas inventory. It also outlines the targets and initiatives we will continue working towards in the coming years.
Through the report, we aim to increase transparency around our work, track our development over time, and provide customers, employees, and other stakeholders with a clearer understanding of our efforts and priorities.

Supply Chain Policy and Supplier Code of Conduct

Our Supply Chain Policy and Supplier Code of Conduct describe the standards and expectations we set for our suppliers and business partners.

The policy covers areas including human rights, working conditions, environmental matters, business ethics, and responsible sourcing. It applies to companies supplying raw materials, packaging, components, or services to Persano Group, including relevant subcontractors and consultants.

We work with our suppliers to promote decent working conditions, responsible business practices, and continuous environmental improvement. The policy also includes requirements relating to areas such as corruption, business ethics, and transparency.

By setting clear expectations for our suppliers, we aim to strengthen cooperation across the value chain and develop long-term partnerships based on shared responsibility and continuous improvement.

Action Plan for Responsible Palm Oil

Persano Group is continuously working to increase the use of RSPO-certified palm oil, palm kernel oil, and related derivatives.

Since 2017, we have gradually increased the share of RSPO-certified palm-based raw materials, and in 2024 more than 95% were covered by RSPO certification.

Some of our certified raw materials are sourced under the RSPO Mass Balance model. Under this model, certified and non-certified material flows may be mixed within the supply chain, while the volume of certified material is managed and documented through the RSPO system.

Our target is for 100% of the relevant palm oil derivatives we use to be covered by RSPO certification by 2030.
Our action plan describes the initiatives we are working on to achieve this target, including ongoing dialogue with suppliers and increased use of certified raw materials.
This work forms part of our broader efforts to strengthen responsible sourcing requirements and improve traceability and documentation across our value chain.
